# Building with AI

> Ask an AI assistant to build and test your Studio game, watch its changes live and undo any of them.

Describe your game; the assistant builds it in the Studio: scenes,
variables, rules, the Menu. It plays it to test, and publishes when you say so.

Not connected yet? [Connect your assistant](/agents/studio-mcp) first. It
takes two minutes.

## What to ask

Describe what you want, like you would to a friend:

> [!PROMPTS]
>
> - Open my Penalty shootout project. Add a ball in the middle and a keeper in front of the right goal.
> - Add a score for each team, and a row that adds a point when the ball crosses a goal.
> - Play the game with two players and tell me if goals count.
> - Why does Play say there are problems? Fix them.

## Watch it work

Keep your project open in the Studio while you chat. Every change the
assistant makes shows up right away.

![An assistant adds a scene, a ball, a keeper and a variable; each appears live in the editor, then History undoes the keeper.](/shots/ai-live-edits.mp4)

## Undo anything

Open **History** (Ctrl+K, then type "history"). The assistant's changes are
listed there. Press the undo arrow next to any one of them.

## Tips

- **One thing at a time.** Small requests are easier to check and undo.
- **Name things.** "the Goal line" beats "the line on the right".
- **Ask it to test.** It can play your game and look at screenshots.
- **It publishes only when you ask**, and only to games you own.

Prefer to explore on your own first? Open a [gallery game](/studio/gallery)
and ask the assistant to explain how it works.
