# visibility_not_allowed

> A private game accepts only private releases.

`disko publish` reports `visibility_not_allowed` when `--visibility` is
`public` or `unlisted` for a private game. `disko` checks this before
uploading when it can read the game; otherwise the registry refuses the
upload with the same code. The command exits with code 2.

## Wrong

```sh
disko publish --visibility public
```

## Right

For a private game, omit `--visibility` (it defaults to `private`) or pass it
explicitly.

```sh
disko publish --visibility private
```
