# studio-missing-settings

> The project has no Settings object, so it has no name, version or starting scene.

Every project carries one Settings object. It names the game, holds its version and picks the scene a match starts in. A project file edited by hand, or an import of a broken file, can lose it.

## Fix

- Import the project again from a file that the Studio exported.
- If you build projects through MCP, start from `create_project`, which adds Settings for you.
