# sign_in_failed

> Browser sign-in did not complete: it timed out, was canceled, or was rejected.

`disko login`, and `disko publish` when it needs to sign you in, open a
browser sign-in and wait up to 5 minutes for it. The command fails with
`sign_in_failed` and exits with code 3 when the sign-in times out, is canceled
or denied in the browser, or is rejected by the sign-in service.

## Fix

- Run the command again and finish the sign-in in the browser within 5
  minutes. With `--no-open`, open the printed URL yourself.
- For agents, CI and other runs where no one can use a browser, use a CLI token
  instead: set `DISKO_TOKEN`, or pipe the token to `disko login --with-token`.
- If the message says the sign-in service returned no refresh token, contact
  support; the sign-in cannot be kept.
