# registry_error

> The registry refused the request with an error the CLI has no specific handling for.

`disko publish` reports `registry_error` when the registry answers with an
error that none of the other codes cover. If the registry's response includes
its own error code, such as `unsupported_media_type`, `disko` reports that
code instead, so `registry_error` itself appears only when the response has
none. The command exits with code 1 and includes any problems the registry
returned.

## Fix

- Read the status and code in the message and any listed problems, fix them,
  and run the command again.
- Check that `--registry` or `DISKO_REGISTRY_URL`, if set, points at the disko
  registry and not at another service.
- Update `@disko-game/cli` to the latest version, in case the registry has
  changed since yours was released.
